April News

Once again, ACOR members want to thank Oak Run residents for their enthusiastic support of our annual Fine Art Show that was held at the end of February. We especially want to welcome several new members who we hope will enjoy being a part of our club as we do.

CANCELLED: In April we will hold our Spring Luncheon, please look for information about the date, time and place on Channel 12, in the Citizen or on this website. This is a purely social event where we enjoy good food and the company of fellow artists before some travel North or on to other Summer adventures.

In case you didn’t see it, congratulations to Heather Doherty who won the “Viewer’s Choice Award” for her watercolor painting “My Sun Spot” (left) and Penny Batchelder for winning the drawing of Kim Shield’s Pastel painting, “Pond Patterns” (right).

Artist of the month for April is Bridget Toner-Kopack. Her work will be exhibited at the Oak Run Library for the entire month.
